Ligula Foundation projects

Our attitude to charity is positive. We see it as an obligation for successful companies to contribute to the good of society.

We donate suitable sums to different organizations that contribute to the good of our world – our main focus being children and animals. We see the children as our future, and want all children throughout the world to have the same opportunities. The support for animals rests on the same foundation: that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the earth with a contiuned rich wildlife, that can evolve and co-exist with us humans.

Orphanage in Thailand

Since 2013, the Ligula Foundation has supported an orphanage in Padeng, located about an hour outside Hua Hin towards the Myanmar border. Today, the orphanage is home to around 20 children and is run with great dedication.

In addition to contributing to the orphanage’s daily operations, the foundation also supports the children’s education. Over the years, several young people have been able to pursue university studies thanks to this support.

Elisabeth Löffler, Vice Chair of the Ligula Foundation, recently visited the orphanage in the village of Padeng in Thailand. During her trip, she also met several students who, over the years, have had the opportunity to continue their studies thanks to the foundation’s support. Read more here
